Welcome to the Scottish Biodiversity Strategy section of BARS. The Scottish Biodiversity Strategy, launched in May 2004, sets out a 25 year strategy for the conservation and enhancement of biodiversity in Scotland. The Scottish Biodiversity Strategy is supported by 5 Strategy Implementation Plans which set out detailed targets and actions for the first three years of the Strategy.
